Märchen und Spiel

Die im Band publizierten 18 Studien greifen die Problematik der Beziehungen zwischen Märchen und Spiel aus diversen Perspektiven auf und berücksichtigen ein reiches Spektrum von Forschungsfragen, methodologischen Ansätzen und zu analysierenden Materialien. Denn in den Beiträgen wird nicht nur auf die Frage eingegangen, wie das Märchen mit dem Spielmotiv zurechtkommt, sondern auch darauf, wie ein intertextuelles und intermediales Spiel mit der Tradition des Märchens im amerikanischen, britischen, georgischen, isländischen, österreichischen, schweizerischen und nicht zuletzt polnischen Kulturkreis getrieben wird. Von daher weist das Buch auf den Reichtum und die Vielschichtigkeit des thematischen Komplexes ,,Märchen und Spiel" hin und bietet hoffentlich Impulse und Anregungen zur weiteren Beschäftigung mit ihm. Die Reihe versteht sich als Publikationsorgan des 2019 am Institut für Germanistik der Universität Warschau gegründeten Interdisziplinären Märchenkundlichen Forschungskreises - IMF (Interdyscyplinarny Bajkoznawczy Zespół Badawczy - IBZB / Folk- and Fairy-Tale Studies Interdisciplinary Research Group), dessen Mitglieder Wissenschaftler aus Deutschland, Österreich, Benin, Georgien, Polen, der Schweiz und den USA sind. Seine Hauptaufgabe ist die Durchführung von Forschungsprojekten im Rahmen folgender Problembereiche: Volksmärchen und verwandte Gattungen der Volksliteratur, Kunstmärchen, Märchenforschung - Geschichte und Gegenwart, Märchenmotive in der Literatur, komparatistische Märchenforschung, Erscheinungsformen und Funktionen des Märchens in der Kinder- und Jugendliteratur und -kultur, Märchenrezeption, Märchensammler, Märchenforscher und ihre literarischen Porträts. ****** The volume is a collection of 18 papers that examine the relationships between fairy tales and games/play from a variety of perspectives, taking on a broad range of research problems, methodological approaches and source materials. The contributors seek not only to elucidate the treatment of the game/play motif in fairy tales, but also to uncover the mechanics of intertextual and inter-medial play with the fairy tale tradition in American, British, Georgian, Icelandic, Austrian, Swiss and Polish culture. As such, the book showcases the richness and multi-layered quality of the "fairy tale and game/play" thematic complex, serving as inspiration and encouragement for continued research. The series is the publishing branch of the Folk- and Fairy-Tale Studies Interdisciplinary Research Group (Bajkoznawczy Zespół Badawczy - IBZB / Interdisziplinärer Märchenkundlicher Forschungskreis - IMF) established in 2019 at the Institute of German Studies, University of Warsaw. Membership of the Team includes researchers from Germany, Austria, Switzerland, the United States, Benin, Georgia, and Poland. Its main purpose is to conduct research in the following fields: folk tales and the related genres of folk literature, literary fairy tales, the past and present of fairy-tale studies, fairy-tale motifs in literature, comparative fairy-tale studies, portrayals and functions of fairy tales in children's and young adults' fiction, reception of fairy tales, collectors of fairy tales, fabulists and their literary profiles. ****** Tom stanowi efekt projektu zrealizowanego w Instytucie Germanistyki UW w ramach prac Interdyscyplinarnego Bajkoznawczego Zespołu Badawczego (IBZB) i przybliżającego problematykę związków między bajką a grą/zabawą. Zebrane tu 18 artykułów omawia różnorodne aspekty gry/zabawy w bajce oraz gry/zabawy z motywami bajkowymi w literaturze i kulturze, wykorzystując bogaty materiał empiryczny i odmienne ujęcia metodologiczne. Autorzy tekstów to naukowcy z krajowych i zagranicznych ośrodków badawczych: z Gruzji, Niemiec, Szwajcarii i Stanów Zjednoczonych. W serii ukazują się publikacje utworzonego w 2019 roku w Instytucie Germanistyki Uniwersytetu Warszawskiego Interdyscyplinarnego Bajkoznawczego Zespołu Badawczego - IBZB / Interdisziplinärer Märchenkundlicher Forschungskreis - IMF / Folk- and Fairy-Tale Studies Interdisciplinary Research Group. Członkami Zespołu są badacze z Niemiec, Austrii, Szwajcarii, Stanów Zjednoczonych, Beninu, Gruzji i Polski, a jego podstawowym celem jest prowadzenie badań z zakresu takich zagadnień jak: bajka ludowa i pokrewne gatunki literatury ludowej, bajka literacka, bajkoznawstwo - historia i teraźniejszość, motywy bajkowe w literaturze, komparatystyka bajkoznawcza, oblicza i funkcje bajki w literaturze i kulturze dziecięcej i młodzieżowej, recepcja bajki, zbieracze bajek, bajkopisarze i ich sylwetki literackie.
