He enjoys reading technical articles and wasn’t really keen on writing till his author friend Kapil Saxena asked him to join him for his first book. He has spent most of his years implementing Java-based applications and is currently into managing software development activities for new product releases. He also provides production support for SaaS (Software as a Service) based applications.

Savitra Sirohi leads Nucsoft's OSS Labs unit. He has a dozen years of experience in the software industry in development and project management roles. He has been involved with several Koha implementations and conducts Koha installation workshops in India. Savitra is an Engineer and has an MBA from the Indian Institute of management.
