A Safer Way To Deal With Aneurysms

Bulging of the main abdominal artery can become a severe enough condition to put doctors as well as patients in a bind: Is it riskier to perform surgery to remove abdominal aneurysms or leave them alone? Technically called abdominal aortic aneurysm (AAA), the artery condition normally goes undetected until the vessel bursts, often with deadly results. AAAs kill about 15,000 Americans a year.
