The following is from the  United  States  Geological  Survey,  National
Earthquake Information Center:  Preliminary hypocenter for earthquake of
2001 Jul 19, UTAH, about 25 miles (40 km) NNE of  Loa,  Utah:   latitude
38.7 degrees north, longitude 111.5 degrees west, origin time 20 15 34.0
utc, depth 3 km, magnitude 4.3.   The  magnitude  and  location  may  be
revised when additional data and further analysis results are available.
There have been no reports of damage.  The location  and  magnitude  for
this  earthquake  were  furnished  by  the University of Utah, Salt Lake
City.
