Jest piękny wiosenny poranek. Tutaj, gdzie teraz jestem wiosna raczej przypomina upalne lato. Lubię wyspiarskie śródziemnomorskie klimaty. Budzi mnie wielki błękit, błękit nieba i oceaniczny lazur.
Kobietę walczącą o siebie i wyznawane wartości. Kobietę zaangażowaną a następnego dnia oderwaną od rzeczywistości. Kochającą, kochaną i znienawidzoną. Wrażliwą i zdeterminowaną. Kobietę na wygnaniu i poszukującą swojego miejsca na ziemi. Kobietę łagodną, obnażającą kły i stroszącą kolce.
Stawiam czoła wypartym wspomnieniom, smutkowi, upokorzeniom, samotności, śmierci, odrzuceniu, tęsknocie, obojętności i chorobie.
It is a beautiful spring morning. Here, where I am now, spring is more like a hot summer. I like the island's Mediterranean atmosphere. I am awakened by great blue sky and ocean azure. Earlier, I thought I was not comfortable with high temperatures. I do not know if it was only my feeling or a projection of the environment in which I lived. Today I am enjoying the sun, blue, pleasantly warm water, and even the temperature above thirty degrees Celsius. When I am at home, I miss places, people, views. It is in these places that I found what I had lost within myself many years ago.
When I think about the woman from the mirror, I see a corporeal woman, inscribed in social roles, not necessarily in accordance with her own choice. A woman who fights for herself and for values. A woman involved and the next day detached from reality. A woman loving, loved and hated, sensitive and determined. A woman in exile looking for her place on earth. A gentle woman, showing her fangs and lifting spines. And finally, a woman as a unique psychological structure. I deal with all the difficult situations accumulated from my early childhood that have shaken my seemingly orderly life. I face repressed memories, sadness, humiliation, loneliness, death, rejection, longing, indifference and illness.
Sometimes the way I think about the events and my habits stiffens and limits me. I need time to really understand that my life is loaned to me and not worth giving up too soon. I needed time to understand what had happened to me in my life and to deal with the pain. Only then was I able to recall the beautiful moments of life again.
I want to see a beautiful and special woman on the other side of the mirror - not ideal and not perfect, but precious. I want to find myself among the opinions of others and the pressure of the environment in which I grew up.
I really like listening to stories. When choosing to read, I often refer to biographies. I am happy to wade through antiques, books, old legends and stories of the region. They talk a lot about people and values. One of my favourite stories is the Cherokee Indian legend about two wolves.
The story tells that there is a constant struggle between two forces inside us. It is a conflict between our darker (black wolf) and lighter, nobler side (white wolf). This dual nature of good and bad, joy and pride, guilt and humility largely defines who we are. In this story, an old Indian explains to his grandson that inside him, as in the hearts of all people, there is a fight between two wolves every day. One wolf is angry. It symbolizes anger, jealousy, greed, arrogance, sadness, inferiority and ego. The second wolf, however, symbolizes strength, which involves goodness, joy, love, hope, peace, humility, compassion and, of course, peace. When a young Cherokee asks his grandfather which wolf will win this battle, in most of the stories we know the old Indian replies: The one you feed will win. But there is also another version in which the old Cherokee warrior tells his grandson that both wolves really have to win, because this battle is not a game of power, but a game of balance. I believe that life is not about achieving a state of constant peace, relaxation, reduction of tensions. For me, the balance is precisely the balance between the state of tension which is necessary for development. A certain degree of tension is fundamental to mental health. I mean the tension caused by the disconnection between what we have already achieved and what is still ahead of us, or who we are and who we want to be. What we need is not to relieve internal tensions at all costs, but to stimulate the capacity of giving meaning to life.
We have to feed both wolves because they need each other. In our lives we experience moments in which we feel joy and those in which we feel sadness, anger, and despair. Our lives can be happy, sad, good or brutal. We experience love and hate, peace and loss. The Cherokee legend of two wolves says that we shouldn't just feed one wolf and starve the other to death. The old warrior tells his grandson that if he chooses to feed only the white wolf, the black wolf will hide in every alley to catch him when he notices his moments of weakness. The Cherokee legend tells us not to underestimate the black wolf because it is a symbol of such qualities as determination, perseverance, courage, strategic thinking. These qualities are missing from the white wolf. So the point is to feed both wolves, to understand their needs and learn to live in harmony.
Bardzo lubię słuchać opowiadań. Wybierając lekturę, często sięgam po biografie. Chętnie kopię w starociach, książkach, starych legendach, opowieściach regionu. Dużo mówią o ludziach i wartościach. Jedna z moich ulubionych opowieści to legenda Indian z plemienia Czirokezów o dwóch wilkach.
Opowieść mówi, że w naszym wnętrzu trwa nieustanna walka dwóch sił. Jest to konflikt pomiędzy naszą ciemniejszą (czarny wilk) i jaśniejszą, szlachetniejszą stroną (biały wilk). Ta podwójna natura dobra i zła, radości i dumy, poczucia winy i pokory definiuje w dużej mierze to, kim jesteśmy. Symbolizuje on gniew, zazdrość, chciwość, arogancję, smutek, poczucie niższości i ego.
Doświadczamy miłości i nienawiści, spokoju i straty.
